Unfinished

Zeineb Henchiri is a neuropsychologist, visual artist and actress. In her work, she explores the concepts of individual and collective perception as well as the notion of being in the body and in the environment. She has produced several exhibitions and plays, always with a socio-psychological dimension.

10 years after a revolution that left 2,147 wounded and missing bodies, 2,147 forgotten memories, injured young people are still fighting for the recognition of their disability. This fight is also ours and this project is above all a duty of remembrance in a race against oblivion.

“Inachevés” (“Unfinished”) is a live performance and video installation project. It is the promise of a cartography of the wounded movement, a living archive of the revolution and a reflection of a wounded, bruised, amnesic ‘Tunisia’ yet still standing today. This is a study on the memory of amnesia and phantom limb. How to relearn to move with a different body? How does the missing body appear in space?
