Sustainability in Palestine

SYKO Project is the first Palestinian project to promote sustainable fashion. The project combines ecology, social impact, community support and promotion of Palestinian arts and crafts.

There is a lack of infrastructure in the fashion sector in Palestine, as well as poor environmental concern. The project is about launching an eco-responsible clothing line that is accessible for all and raise awareness of “slow fashion” and sustainable consumption. By doing so, SYKO Project wants to revive the Palestinian tradition such as embroidery, and promote local craftspeople by developing suitable infrastructure and drive change both among consumers and among clothing producers in Palestine.
