COL’Jam is a Moroccan association founded by Wajdi Gagui and Ahlam El Morsli, dancers and choreographers. They have created several shows as well as the festival “Les rencontres chorégraphiques de Casablanca”. They want to democratize dance in Morocco and create an international dynamic through training and socio-cultural initiatives in schools, youth centers, detention centers and prisons.
Khaliyya is a research and awareness-raising project on contemporary dance in disadvantaged areas, centered on the district of Aïn Harrouda, a marginalized working-class district of Casablanca. This project aims to allow young people to express their realities through dance and allow access to artistic activity, raise awareness about arts in education and its role in the prevention of school drop-outs and violence.
